Burnout

And Jesus said to them, The Sabbath was made on account and for the sake of man, not man for the Sabbath; so the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath. - Mark 2:27-28

It wasn't until I read this that I realized I had not been "resting" on the Sabbath, as God intends. I have been such a work-aholic most of my adult life that I have not made time to obey God's ordinances. If we reap what we sow and all I sow is stress, then I will pay the price. I'm making a promise not to let that happen again.
